The Flood: 2006

Roughly 3 weeks ago... in fact 4 weeks ago on August 3nd, 2006 on the same day this happened, Port Elizabeth had one of it's biggest floods in 30 years. Roads were washed away, homes destroyed, thousands were left homeless and still others died. It brought a volitile draught situation to an end very quickly, but it also caused untold devestation and destruction.
